Terms and Conditions for Use of Bardwell Press eBooks


Please read this carefully. This page sets out the terms and conditions on which you may use the eBook entitled “The Challenge of Indigenous Peoples: Specatcle or Politics?” edited by Barbara Glowczewski and Rosita Henry. By accessing the Publication you agree to the terms and conditions below. The Bardwell Press recommends that you print a copy of these terms and conditions for your records.


Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following words shall have the following meanings:

“The Bardwell Press” means The Bardwell Press, Tithe Barn House, 11 High Street, Cumnor, Oxford, OX2 9PE, UK

“the Publication” means the electronic version of the book entitled “The Challenge of Indigenous Peoples: Spectacle or Politics?” edited by Barbara Glowczewski and Rosita Henry.

“user” means the individual purchasing the publication.

Any use of the word ‘he’ or ‘him’ shall include she, her, it, they and them as appropriate.


Applicable Terms and Conditions

The Publication is owned by The Bardwell Press and any use made of this site (including payments made via the website) are subject to these Terms and Conditions. The Bardwell Press may, at his sole discretion, modify or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating the text of this page.


Access and Use

The Publication once purchased will normally be delivered to the email address you supply to PayPal within 48 hours of purchasing and will be personalised with the name you enter in the “Please personalise your ebook” field or the name you supply to PayPal if this field is left blank. Once your ebook has been sent to the email address you supply at the time of purchase the purchase cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. You can request the Publication be resent to the address you supplied at any time.

Upon receiving the Publication and payment of any applicable fees The Bardwell Press grants you a non-exclusive right to view, use, and display and print such Publication an unlimited number of times solely for your personal, non-commercial use. Unless otherwise specified, the Publication is licensed, not sold, to you by The Bardwell Press.

Limitations. You may not sell, rent, lease, distribute, broadcast, sublicense, or otherwise assign any rights to the Publication or any portion of it to any third party, and you may not remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels on the Publication. In addition, you may not bypass, modify, defeat, or circumvent security features that protect the Publication.


Copyright and Trademark

Copyright in the Publication is owned by The Bardwell Press and Barbara Glowczewski & Rosita Henry. Unauthorised use of the Publication including reproduction, storage, modification, distribution or re-Publication without the prior written consent of The Bardwell Press is prohibited.

The name of The Bardwell Press and all related product and service names, design marks and slogans are the trade names, service marks or trademarks of The Bardwell Press and may not be used without the prior written consent of The Bardwell Press.


Disclaimer

General

If any of the provisions of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.

Any failure of The Bardwell Press to exercise or enforce any of its rights under these terms and conditions shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any such rights or operate so as to bar the subsequent exercise reinforcement of any such rights.


Jurisdiction

The terms and conditions and the use by the user of the Publication shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties hereto submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in all disputes arising out of or relating to, the Publication and or any transactions made in relation to the Publication, or these terms and conditions.
